Thanks to its unique tensile properties, it’s hard to find a UK sector that doesn’t use pressed steel sheets. We pass the steel through special rollers during the manufacturing process to get the desired thickness and dimensions. GWR Engineering prides itself in producing first-class steel sheets for the container, construction, secure storage and waste sectors. Our extensive pressing shop has power presses, a range of press brakes and a horizontal press – so we are perfectly set up to produce your formed and folded steel sheeting. We manufacture sheets from a coil of flat coated steel, which is processed through a roll forming machine, putting in the profiles (or pattern) and giving the sheet its strength. We can make almost any sheet length from 500mm to 3,500mm. These capabilities are perfectly complemented by other services such as welding and finishing, making us a one-stop shop for all your steelwork requirements.
